Nice Guys’ Preview of the Spring Homes Tour*

Sandy, Yvonne and I want to invite you to join us the middle Saturday – 4/25/09 – for a special two-hour tour of the new homes in Northland ’s Parade of Homes.

The Saturday Tour of Homes is a great way for you to figure out which new neighborhoods and properties are right for you.

The tours are two hours and they start at 1pm and 3:30pm. So if you’d like to participate, just tell us which time, and we’ll make all the arrangements from there. Use the form provided below.

Remember, the Saturday Spring Tour of New Homes is not designed to find the house of your dreams. Rather, it provides an opportunity for you to learn about what properties look like in the neighborhoods and price ranges of your choice.

Jerry and Christie loved their first home, but were out growing it. They were looking for a considerably larger home in a desirable child  friendly neighborhood, where they could raise their two children in an  atmosphere of neighborliness and hospitality. And of course, as one of our hardworking nice guy team members, Jerry and Christie needed to make  the move without a large increase in new mortgage payment.

 
After looking at many properties, Jerry and Christie fell in love with  one in a lovely Northland lake community. The house was only ten years  old but needed a great deal of repair work even before the family could  ever possibly move in.  John and I did our homework and helped Jerry negotiate a great price for  the house, and then we put him in touch with our preferred lender and rehab loan specialist, Jim, with Pulaski Bank . We knew Jerry would need  to have the cash up front for the considerable rehab and repairs. This  loan was the ideal way for Jerry to make the improvements needed so that  his family could move into and begin truly to enjoy their new home.

 
Today, the work is almost complete and Jerry is nearing the point where  he will finance the home through a conventional loan. All this and still  come out a winner! Jerry, Christie and the children are now just a few days away from   moving into their dream home and ready to enjoy the fun and games of  lake living.
